Richard Morrison (Dick) has been living in California for 40 years, many spent in the Aerospace industry. Boredom soon set in after retirement so he taught graphic design at a college and later did ads for a publisher and a training manual for the Fire Service. He now spends time doing projects on the computer with 3 of his grandchildren. ra.56.morr@verizon.net
Sandra Ward elected President of Amigos de los Animales de Guanajuato, A.C.

Amigos was established 5 years ago and evolved from the Fondo Juana Summers Ward (JSW Fund), established in memory of Sandra's sister, Joan Summers, a California artist, part-time resident of Guanajuato, and friend to animals, who died in 1998. Information about Amigos is available on the web site at http://amigosanimalesgto.org/. You can get on the mailing list to receive their newsletter by writing to contact@amigosanimalesgto.org or to Sandra at wardsandra@aol.com
Remember Ruth Ward, Sandy Ward’s mother? Back in the '50s she started a Camp Fire Girls chapter in Olmsted Falls, creating lots of opportunities for the girls in our class to have fun.
In 1999, she moved to Guanajuato in central Mexico, where Sandra and her husband Ron live. Still living independently at age 97, she has two dogs that Sandra rescued, swims a couple of times a week at an outdoor pool even in the chilly winter months (she’s planning to get a wetsuit this winter), has many friends, entertains frequently, and loves her life in Mexico. Sandra says her mom still gives her excellent advice.

Kay Olson (Audrey Ring) has been living and working in RI for almost 40 years. Luckily, her husband Dave was always assigned to NUWC or the Pentagon, so either was a "commute" and the 3 children were able to "sail" through school without being uprooted. There are 3 hunting labs in the Olson house now and a lot of time is spent either training or exercising them - RI is surrounded by water, so kayaking is an opportunity for them to swim off their excess energy while the owners conserve theirs.
